Context
Savannah, Georgia is a city located on the southern border of the United States. It is characterized by its rich history, warm embrace, and southern charm. With winding streets to wander leisurely on for hours, it is no wonder why this place is a hotspot for local residents and distant travelers alike to visit this vibrant city and all it has to offer deep in the South of the United States.
I was tasked to create a simple monotone poster that that encompassed the aesthetics and characterizations of Savannah, Georgia in one simple and visually appealing piece. This will be used to advertise the city and be viewed by potential tourists. In addition to this, I was asked to create a custom letterform based on the city’s first letter “S” to include onto the poster as an additional decorative element to the poster to boost its visual appeal.
